The Grapple Den Association is a loose knit New York City organization for individuals who enjoy fitness, wrestling, grappling, and athleticism on social level.
We create opportunities for amateur grapplers and submission wrestling fans to interact and improve their general fitness. We hold workshops, run a monthly wrestling party, create wrestling performances, and provide fitness training and instruction.

1. Physical Excellence
We condition our bodies to the best of our abilities, so as to perform well and have a well tuned instrument. Even in the face of a given physical adversity, we each reach as far as we individually can.
2. Good Sportsmanship
Respect and honor are of critical importance when dealing with another person or with yourself. Respect the rules of a given gym, respect the limits and conditions set by a partner, respect youself by putting your best face forward.
3. Safety and Awareness
No one likes to lose training time due to an injury. We strive to prevent injuries by being good training partners, being mindful of our environment, controlling intensity levels, listening to our bodies, and knowing when to stop.
